The pandemic, Covid-19 hit us this year . During these trying times, we have adopted to the need of the hour. Online education has been started in our school for classes KG – XII . With time, we have embraced this new normal. Our efficient teachers have handled the students well during the online class . We are also looking forward to follow and adopt the new education policy declared by the Government of India which will certainly develop the skill and learning abilities of students as per their line of interest. At Saltlake Siksha Niketan plethora of academic and co-curricular activities offer the opportunity to all the students to discover various facts of personalities. We encourage students to explore, discover and learn by reflection and in this way the school prepares the learners for the responsibilities they will face in their lives
Education is not just a process of giving knowledge for a high profiled job but a lifelong process which creates an understanding of moral and ethical values to guide and make our students morally upright citizens of the country. Therefore, at SALT LAKE SHIKSHA NIKETAN, we tried to create an atmosphere of reverence for education and a healthy environment where academics, sports and co-curricular facilities mould our students and motivate them to be the brightest and the best. From the humble beginning of just a few students in its inception, the school is now imparting education to 2500 students. It has been our endeavour to bring in the best, provide the latest methodology to ensure our young children to grow up and develop all round activities, contributing good and skilled citizens to the nation.
